Variety description

The plant forms a neat clump-forming shape with deeply dissected dark green palmate leaves. The umbel inflorescences are dark red (ruby) in color and surrounded by large bracts of the same color with blackish tips. The stems are sturdy, branching, with a reddish hue; plant height is 65–80 cm.

Flowering lasts from May-June to November; repeat flowering is possible when faded inflorescences are removed. The variety is winter-hardy, prefers fertile moist soils and locations in partial shade or in the sun with sufficient watering. Used in landscape design and as a cut flower crop.
