The variety was bred at the Krukanice breeding station using genetic material from Canadian and Chinese samples. It is a hulless food crop.
Grain quality studies show that this variety is characterized by an increased starch content compared to the average indicators for other oat varieties. In general, the variety possesses a high level of protein, including lysine, fats, and vitamins, typical for hulless varieties of the crop.
