Variety description

10 August 2026

The Asterion variety belongs to spring crops with a medium heading time and medium or medium-long plant height. It is characterized by high grain test weight, large seed size, excellent sorting, and low hull content (huskiness).

The plant has very good resistance to powdery mildew, good resistance to leaf spot and stripe blight, and above-average tolerance to Fusarium. Due to high seeding density, the variety is able to maintain high yields under unfavorable tillering conditions.
