The variety serves as an important historical breeding resource and is often used in agronomy as a standard for comparison when evaluating maturity dates and other characteristics of new breeding achievements. It served as a basis for the creation of varieties such as Skakun and Atlet.

Due to its age, the variety is not relevant for mass commercial cultivation. Its morphological parameters and grain quality indicators are not presented in modern databases as they are for current varieties, since the plant mainly appears in breeding materials as a genetic source.
