The variety is intended for improving soil structure, protection against erosion, nitrogen fixation, and weed suppression. Due to its rapid growth, it is suitable for late sowing dates, providing a high yield of organic mass and the creation of a dense plant cover.

The plant possesses a developed fibrous root system, penetrating the soil to a depth of up to 80 cm. The variety exhibits resistance to lodging and contributes to a reduction in the population of the root-lesion nematode Pratylenchus penetrans. It can also be used as a forage crop and raw material for biogas.
