The variety is a biennial plant cultivated as an annual crop. The root crops have a cylindrical or barrel-like shape and yellow color. A characteristic feature is that they protrude above the soil surface by approximately 2/3 of their size, which simplifies the harvesting process.

The growing period is from 140 to 155 days. The variety is distinguished by high yield, succulent flesh, and good keeping quality in storage. The crop is resistant to bolting and is traditionally used as feed for livestock, including cattle, sheep, and rabbits, with the tops also being used as green fodder.
