The variety has a cylindrical root shape and intense purple-red color. The root is only partially immersed in the soil, which facilitates the harvesting process.

The plant has succulent flesh and is characterized by high yield and nutritional value. Reaches 30–60 cm in height. The variety is widely used in small-scale livestock and hunting farms as succulent fodder.
