Jamon variety root crops have an oval shape and are characterized by a medium level of soil immersion: from 30% to 50% of the root crop is above the surface, which simplifies the harvesting process. The flesh of the root crop is white and very juicy.
The dry matter content in the root crops is 14–18%. The variety is intended for fodder purposes, suitable for grazing animals directly in the field or for harvesting with subsequent storage in silage trenches. The variety possesses resistance to bolting and common foliage diseases.
