The variety is classified as fodder beet, although in a number of physiological studies it is considered in the context of sugar beet genotypes. The yield of the variety varies between 83–130 t/ha, while the sugar content and dry matter content remain relatively low.
In scientific literature, the variety is known primarily for its stress tolerance, in particular the ability to maintain CO2 fixation under conditions of prolonged exposure to salinization. The variety appears in UPOV technical guidelines as an object for distinctness, uniformity, and stability testing.
