The "Oscar" variety and its "Oscar Poly" variant belong to sugar beet. In a number of scientific works, it is classified as a semi-sugar type, which sometimes leads to the erroneous assignment of the variety to forage groups.
The plant is multigerm and demonstrates stable indicators of yield and root crop quality in various conditions of agrotechnical trials.
