The Fabius variety is an industrial crop belonging to sugar beet. It is a diploid variety classified by productivity type as normal-sugar (N/S).

This variety exhibits resistance to beet necrotic yellow vein virus (rhizomania) and the causal agent of cercospora leaf spot. In scientific practice, the variety is used as an object for studying the effect of biostimulants on physiological plant indicators and total root yield.
