Gulliver is a monogerm diploid hybrid based on cytoplasmic male sterility of the NZ-type. The crop is intended for industrial processing, possesses high field emergence, and is suitable for both early harvesting and long-term storage.
The plant possesses resistance to rhizomania and bolting. Under field conditions, it shows low susceptibility to root rot and blackleg, as well as a medium degree of susceptibility to Cercospora leaf spot.
