The variety belongs to the monogerm sugar beet type. In the 1970s and 1980s, it was widely used in agronomic experiments and scientific research related to product quality assessment and crop protection.
During the studies, the variety was classified as susceptible to the beet cyst nematode and was used for studying Cercospora leaf spot and the fungal pathogen Polymyxa betae. Practical recommendations of that period included a planting density of about 80–85 thousand plants per hectare.
