The roots of the variety reach a weight of 1 to 2 kg, possess yellow flesh and thin tender foliage. The variety is traditionally used in cooking for preparing soups and vegetable dishes, and was also historically used as livestock feed.
Sowing in open field is conducted from April to June with a planting scheme of 40 cm between rows and 40 by 60 cm between plants. Harvesting is carried out in the period from July to October depending on the sowing dates.
