The root crop has a classic round shape. The skin of the root is purple, which smoothly transitions to yellow closer to the lower part. The flesh has a light-yellow shade. The variety is distinguished by its strongly developed, erect foliage.

The variety is a local landrace that was grown in the village of Nusnas in the province of Dalarna as early as the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It has the status of a heritage variety. Used for food.
