The variety belongs to the semi-fodder type. It is a biennial plant that forms a leaf rosette and a root crop in the first year of vegetation, and flowers and produces seeds in the second.

The root crops have white flesh and are distinguished by a more delicate taste compared to older fodder varieties. Young root crops are suitable for raw consumption, while larger ones are recommended for preparing soups, stews, and side dishes.

The crop is undemanding, although it is sensitive to damage by cruciferous flea beetles at a young age. During cultivation, it requires regular maintenance, including weeding and thinning of plantings.
