The plant forms uniform, round-shaped root crops, the surface of which is purple in the upper part. The yellow flesh has a fine texture and a sweet aroma without bitterness.

The variety is winter-hardy and demonstrates resistance to low temperatures. Good resistance of the tops to powdery mildew has been noted. The root crops are distinguished by excellent keeping quality during winter storage.

The variety is suitable for culinary use in fresh, boiled, baked, or preserved form, as well as for livestock feed. Agricultural practices include sowing in spring or early summer; fertile loamy or sandy loam soils with sufficient moisture are preferred.
