The root has a green skin color in the upper part above the soil level with weak intensity of anthocyanin coloration. The leaves of the variety are short, and the pseudostem between the leaf scars has no or almost no anthocyanin coloration.

The variety has a high dry matter content. In studies, it demonstrates high resistance to black rot (Rhizoctonia) and a certain resistance to cabbage root fly, however, it shows susceptibility to damage by slugs.

The variety was bred using the parent form Bangholm Wilby. The main breeding objectives were to increase dry matter yield, improve product quality, and ensure winter hardiness.
