The plant pseudostem has no anthocyanin coloration between leaf scars. The leaf margin is described as entire. The root has no anthocyanin coloration of the skin in the part above the soil level, and the flesh is white.
The variety possesses resistance to viral diseases: in historical trials, the infection level was less than 10%. The variety also underwent screening for resistance to Turnip mosaic virus.
