Ravello is a winter form of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.). In industry classifiers, the variety is often marked with the prefix NK, indicating its belonging to the Syngenta breeding line.
The variety was present in state registers of agricultural crops, in particular in Germany and Austria, where its registration was maintained until the mid-2010s.
