The variety is a short-stemmed form of fodder kale with strong, rigid stems and a dense, leafy top. Due to its dense structure, the plants possess high resistance to lodging and frost, and also exhibit tolerance to clubroot.
The plant is used primarily in agriculture as a fodder crop for animals, as well as in hunting estates to establish a food base and cover for game, such as pheasants and partridges.
