The variety is characterized by a plant height of 80 to 100 cm. The plant forms a thick, succulent stem and large leaves, the proportion of which in the total mass is more than 60%. The short vegetation period allows the crop to be grown as a stubble crop.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness and tolerates frosts down to -10°C. The produce contains about 22% protein of dry mass and vitamins. Due to its compact cylindrical stems, the variety is suitable for automated harvesting and is used as a source of green fodder in the period from July to winter.
