The early-maturing Burney F1 hybrid reaches technical maturity 66 days after transplanting. The plant forms a compact bush with dome-shaped blue-green heads featuring a smooth surface and small buds. The variety is distinguished by high density and uniformity of the heads and is intended for the fresh market.

The hybrid possesses pronounced heat resistance and stress tolerance, which allows it to maintain product quality under summer growing conditions. It has high resistance to Fusarium wilt and intermediate resistance to black rot, as well as reduced susceptibility to Alternaria.

The variety was intended for summer and autumn production; in particular, it was considered within the framework of projects to improve broccoli quality for the eastern regions of the USA. A number of current reports indicate that the production of this hybrid has been discontinued or its availability is limited.
