The variety possesses a high degree of resistance to bacterial head rot caused by Pseudomonas marginalis and other fluorescent Pseudomonas species. The dense structure of the heads reduces the risk of moisture retention, which further increases resistance to rot compared to looser varieties.

The variety demonstrates good adaptability for year-round production in tropical climate conditions.
