The variety is late-maturing; the growing period from emergence to the start of harvesting is about 110 days. The average height of an adult plant reaches 75 cm.

The plant belongs to the branching type of broccoli and is intended for cultivation in open field conditions. The recommended planting density is about 2.7 plants per 1 square meter or using a 75x50 cm spacing pattern.

In agricultural practice for Italian conditions, sowing in a seedbed is carried out from May to July. The variety is a traditional heritage of the Calabria region and does not belong to the breeding developments of specific commercial companies.
