Plants are characterized by vigorous growth and long-petioled leaves of an elongated-oval, boat-like shape with wavy margins. The stump height is about 21 cm. The heads are formed round or high-round, with a dense structure and a pronounced bluish-violet waxy bloom.
The variety is intended for late harvesting and long-term storage, maintaining tissue quality until mid-March. Various breeding lines are distinguished within the historical variety type, such as Hunderup, Stensballe, Ny Munkegaard and Rodan.
