The plant is vigorous, uniformly developed, of a cross-pollinated type. The heads have a dense, firm structure and vary in shape from deep-spherical to round. Both the external and internal leaf coloration is characterized as purple.

The variety belongs to the late-maturing group and shows a high percentage of marketable heads at harvest. During the growing season, it may exhibit varying degrees of susceptibility to powdery mildew and cabbage aphid, as well as susceptibility to leaf rot in unfavorable seasons.
