The Marissa hybrid is mid-season, with a maturity period of 82–83 days. The plant forms heads with a characteristic, strongly pronounced blistered leaf texture of dark green color. The average weight of a marketable head is about 1.6 kg.

The variety possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium Yellows) and exhibits intermediate resistance to White Rust. It is intended for cultivation in the open field and for sale on the fresh market.
