Roodnerf is an heirloom variety characterized by reliability and gradual maturation of the crop from autumn to early winter. The growing period is about 100 days after transplanting. The plant reaches a height of about 60 cm.
The variety forms firm round green sprouts, sometimes with reddish veins on the leaves. The plant has good resistance to cold, as well as to a number of diseases and pests. The produce is suitable for culinary processing and freezing.
