The Solares F1 hybrid forms smooth flat-round tuberous stems and dark green foliage resistant to heat. The development period ranges from 43 to 120 days depending on conditions and timing of cultivation. The crop is recommended for obtaining marketable produce in the period from early summer to autumn.
The plant has high resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. conglutinans, as well as to downy mildew. Methods excluding inbreeding were used in the selection of the hybrid.
