Raven F1 is a hybrid of the cavolo nero type with a neat, uniform rosette shape. The plant forms thin, dark green, almost black leaves with a highly blistered, corrugated texture, which increases their resistance to wind damage.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, bolting resistance, and good field tolerance to adverse conditions. High yield and plant uniformity facilitate the harvesting process.

The plant is intended for fresh consumption, including baby leaf harvest, bunching, as well as for industrial processing and packaging.
