The variety is distinguished by high trichome density on the surface of leaves and stems, as well as high resistance to lodging. In publications from the 1980s, it was classified as a variety with low erucic acid and glucosinolate content.
It is used as an oilseed crop and also in scientific research as genetic material for creating resynthesized rapeseed hybrids. The variety is adapted to cool climate conditions.
