The variety is classified as winter turnip rape (Brassica rapa L. var. silvestris), although in some scientific sources, due to botanical affinity and breeding methods, it may appear as a rapeseed variety. The origin of the variety is associated with Swedish breeding.
The plant belongs to the winter development type. Under experimental conditions, the variety exhibited moderate resistance to soil salinity and showed a relatively lower level of damage by flea beetles. The variety is used as source material in breeding and as a control sample in field trials.
