Variety description

10 August 2026

The SW Rebus variety belongs to spring forms of turnip rape (spring turnip rape). In modern agricultural literature, it is known primarily as a valuable genetic material possessing resistance to clubroot, which is used in the breeding of rapeseed and other Brassica species.

In studies of oilseed crop yields in Finland, the variety was noted in the context of reduced seed productivity when exposed to high temperatures during the grain-filling period. Detailed agronomic characteristics (plant height, maturity group, or product quality indicators) are absent in open sources.
