The Synthia variety is a representative of a new generation of "Plus" type spring turnip rape and the first synthetic variety of the crop to utilize the heterosis effect. The vegetation period is 105–108 days. The plant is characterized by high stem strength, which reduces the risk of lodging and allows for the application of increased nitrogen fertilizer doses.

The produce is characterized by high oil output indicators and low chlorophyll content, while seed size and protein content are at an average level. The variety is intended for the oil industry and is distinguished by yield stability exceeding that of traditional varieties by 10%.

To protect crops from Sclerotinia and clubroot, it is recommended to observe crop rotation with a 4–5 year interval between growing cruciferous crops. The variety is suitable for various climatic zones, however, it is not recommended for sowing in fields prone to severe drought.
