The variety possesses high tolerance to salinity and water deficit, demonstrating higher productivity indicators under drought conditions compared to a number of other genotypes. Research has also noted its susceptibility to insect pests and its reaction to certain types of fungal seed infections.
In the history of breeding, the variety was used in efforts to reduce erucic acid content. Currently, it is primarily used as a genetic sample (exotic genotype) in breeding programs aimed at increasing stress tolerance in crops of the Brassica family.
