The Gold Rush F1 variety is mentioned in specialized studies concerning the storage of Chinese cabbage. It was established that this hybrid is capable of enduring storage at a temperature regime of 0°C and 2°C, maintaining its quality characteristics and avoiding physiological disorders.

In academic publications, the variety is also used as an object for conducting experiments on studying the adaptation and resistance of various cultivars to stress environmental conditions, in particular to conditions of phosphorus deficiency in the soil.
