The variety Monique belongs to the group of bud-flowering plants whose buds do not fully open, maintaining color intensity for a long time. The flowers have a pinkish-pink, lilac-pink, or mauve-violet hue. The plant's evergreen foliage is dark green.
The shrub has an upright or semi-upright form, reaching a height of 30–60 cm with a width of 45–90 cm. The flowering period lasts from August to November. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures below -20 °C, and drought tolerance after rooting.
The plant is used in ornamental gardening for creating borders, as well as for cultivation in containers, pots, and hanging baskets, often used as part of autumn floral arrangements.
