The variety «Vivika» is a compact evergreen shrub 20–40 cm in height and 18–24 cm in width. The leaves are narrow, scale-like, triangular in shape, and dark green in color.
The plant belongs to the bud-flowering heather type: the flowers do not open fully, which allows them to retain their ornamental quality for longer. Flowering occurs during the period from September to November.
The variety requires well-lit areas, peaty soils with high acidity, and a moderately moist substrate. Regular watering and mulching with pine needles, bark, or sawdust are recommended in care to maintain the pH level.
