The variety Epona is a winter variety of Camelina sativa. Products derived from the seeds of this variety are used in the food industry, chemical industry, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
The variety provides seed yields at the level of 2.5 t/ha. Camelina oil contains about 70% unsaturated fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic, oleic, and gadoleic acids, and the meal possesses high nutritional value due to its high protein content.
