The plant height of the Hoga variety in field trials is about 52.4 cm. Biologically, the variety is characterized by early maturity, ripening about three weeks earlier than spring rapeseed.
The seed oil contains about 35% alpha-linolenic acid and 0.4% erucic acid. The variety is included in plant genetic resource collections and is used as starting breeding material.
