The yield of the variety varies from 540 to 750 kg/ha, although under optimal irrigation the figures can be higher. A number of studies note that the variety demonstrates a higher content of linoleic acid, and the share of palmitic acid in the seeds is about 11.4%.

The variety is actively used in scientific research, in particular for the creation of salt-tolerant cell lines in vitro, where forms with increased resistance to NaCl concentrations of up to 1.5% were obtained. The plant belongs to oilseed crops, the oil of which is suitable for the food, technical, and biofuel industries.
