The variety is a winter form of Camelina sativa. It belongs to large-seeded varieties, and its seeds are distinguished by a high content of unsaturated fatty acids, the proportion of which accounts for more than 90% of the total acid content.
The plant possesses high adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions and resistance to diseases and pests. A high degree of resistance to diseases allows this variety to be used in organic farming.
The seeds of the variety contain a significant volume of oil rich in linoleic, linolenic, and eicosenoic acids. Research has also been conducted on the use of seeds of this crop in the production of biodiesel fuel.
