The variety is mid-season or mid-early; the period from germination to the beginning of fruiting is 110–120 days. The bush reaches a height of 60–70 cm and is characterized by its compactness.
The fruits have a cone-shaped form, often with a characteristic "beak." The weight of a single fruit varies from 150 to 250 g with a wall thickness of up to 8 mm. The flesh is juicy and crunchy; the use of the harvest is universal.
The name Antares is also found in European vegetable variety catalogs, however, detailed agrotechnical characteristics of this professional variety are not presented in open sources.
