Criptonio RZ is a Lamuyo-type sweet pepper hybrid with an open bush habit. The plant is characterized by high productivity and the ability for concentrated fruit setting, which simplifies the mechanical harvesting process. The variety is adapted for cultivation in hot climate conditions.

Fruits at biological maturity are red in color, elongated in shape with an average length of 14 cm, and have thick walls. They possess high post-harvest shelf life and resistance to cracking.

The hybrid possesses high resistance (HR) to Potato virus Y, Tobacco mosaic virus, and bacterial spot. Intermediate resistance (IR) includes Tomato spotted wilt virus and nematodes.
