The fruits are conical or elongated conical in shape, 3 to 5 cm long, sometimes up to 10 cm, with a base diameter of 1.5–2 cm. The skin is bright green and shiny, with an average fruit weight of 2 to 2.5 grams.

The flavor of the fruits is mild and sweetish, however, some of the pods (approximately one in ten) have pronounced pungency, the level of which depends on external stress factors during cultivation. The harvest is collected at the stage of technical maturity, while the fruits are green in color.

The plant is adapted to the climatic conditions of the Galicia region with its mild temperatures and high humidity. When cultivated in other conditions, the characteristics of flavor and pungency may change, as the variety is a local population maintained by farmers.
