The variety belongs to the apple pepper group; the period from sowing to harvest is about 130 days. The fruits have a smooth surface, thick walls, and a characteristic oblate shape resembling an apple.
The taste of the fruits is hot, with a pungency level of approximately 2,000 Scoville heat units. The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field with a recommended planting density of 50 cm by 30 cm.
The primary use of the produce is for canning whole fruits. The variety is traditionally used for preparing stuffed preserves, such as fruits stuffed with cabbage in marinade.
