Mattadores F1 is a powerful and vigorous plant characterized by high yield. The fruits have an elongated conical shape; their length is 23–25 cm with a width of 5–7 cm. At technical maturity, the pepper is dark green, which changes to bright red at biological maturity.
The fruit flesh is crisp and thick, making the hybrid suitable for culinary processing, including stuffing and grilling. The variety possesses resistance to Tobacco mosaic virus (Tm:0, 1, 2) and Pepper mild mottle virus (PMMoV).
