Bell Boy
ActiveCapsicum annuum L. · Bell pepper
ROYAL SLUIS
10 August 2026
The plant is medium-tall and compact, reaching a height of 50 to 80 cm. The fruits have an elongated-conical, often ribbed shape 5 to 10 cm in length and weighing 17–20 g. At technical maturity they are light green, turning bright red upon full ripening.
A feature of the variety is the variability of pungency: most fruits have a mild taste, but about 10% of the pods can be pungent, reaching 500–2500 SHU on the Scoville scale. Pungency increases with drought and as they ripen. The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field, greenhouses, and containers.
