The variety is indeterminate and high-yielding. The fruits have a horn shape with a pointed tip, and their length is 18–22 cm. At the stage of technical maturity, the fruits are yellow-green in color and are borne on the plant in a drooping position.
The plant is demanding regarding light conditions, water supply, and soil nutrient content. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and for canning, including pickling. In scientific research, it is often used as a model object for studying fruit ripening.
